Guys,
I bought a 95 SC400 two days ago for $5000. It has 140k miles, every major component is fine, the paint is in great shape with minor scratches, and the interior has no rips. It also has new tires.
Here are the problems...
1.Condensation on the passenger side headlight and tail lamp.
2.The door handle was loose, but I fixed it with some home made brackets.
3.The front and back speakers were out, so I spent 180 for two pairs of speakers including installation.
4. Trunk support needs replacement.
5. Not sure if I will need timing belt.
What do you guys think?

That's a good deal. I paid about $7989 for my '95 SC400 w/ 130k miles recently. I had to pay $1850 in maintenance (timing belt, water pump, etc.) and now I hardly have any money left.

if the interior is perfect, you are a step up on many of us. I would say that is the one part of the car that wears the fastest. The paint is of such high quality and the mechanics of the car are so damn reliable.
Perhaps you could have done a tad better in the way of a deal; but, who cares? You don't have much work to have a pretty clean ride that will last and last.

just do some maintenance on it (eg belts that haven't been replaced, fluid flushes that need to be done, etc) and you will grow to like it more and more everyday.
