Default Now who said our wood trim is garbage?

Well I got sick of looking at my dull, plastic looking wood trim and did something about it. I pulled out all the panels and removed the wood trim individually and spent 3 hours refinishing them to perfection. Now the dullness is completely gone. It looks like the wood trim of later model Lexus' and let me tell you it was worth it. The wood grain distinctly pops out with depth and clarity. It reflects the light perfectly and there's not a single scratch to be found. The camera does not do justice Just to let you know this is REAL WOOD!

Looks good. My trim also has that hazy color that looks pretty bad. I am doing the same this weekend...

I still have to do the center trim piece. That's a ***** to get out, and its quite different from the pre '97/'98 model. I'll do a step by step for that once i get around it.

Here's the jist:
1.) clayed to remove any gunk
2.) 1600 grit sand paper and wet sanded it
3.) Used a mild cutting compound with a polisher, 4 times
4.) polished it, with polisher 2 times
5.) sealed it with wax, using the buffer

All products were meguiars.
