hey guys i don't know if you guys notice this, but whenever i drive my car WITHOUT the air conditioner, the engine bay would get really hot (once you open the door, you would feel the heat). however, whenever you turn the air conditioner on, not so much. i just noticed this today, but i'll confirm it tmr when i driver her again.

It should be. Some people at the track will turn the heater on full blast on the return road to get the engine cooler quicker.

Since heater uses the cooling fluid's heat to heat up the cabin, it may lower the temp of the fluid and hence the engine...i think

Probably something like that. If your car is overheating, you can help combat it a little by turning the heater on.
