Okay guys, this should be a good question. On the Trim bezel that goes around radio and down to shifter console, it contains the temp control **** and master volume control for radio. On the base radio system, does it also contain the volume **** or just the temp ****. I have replaced radio w/ Nak deck and PA2 and do not need volume **** anymore. Any ideas????

I have toyed with the idea of using the leads from the volume **** and using them on an aftermarket deck. Shouldn't be too hard to do other than connect to the leads from behind the volume button and the power button. I like having a large volume **** and power switch.

Has anyone out there hooked up there stock volume ****/on-off dial on the SC300/SC400 to an aftermarket system? I'm looking for some ideas, cause I still like the old fashioned "dial" to control volume. Thanks.

Thanks, I found the hack, pretty descriptive. So now I guess my question is this, how did you hook that up to the aftermarket headunit?Unless you actually go into the guts of the unit, I'm not sure how it can be done, for the volume and on/off.... How did you do it?
For what it's worth, I've just started using this Club for 2 days, and I've found out so much info on my car, it's unreal. This is great!

Shane,
Yeah, It's a 93 SC300, but I had gotten into an accident one
day while it was snowing, and hit the front right side of the
car. So as the body guy was starting to order new parts, I
told him to order the newer body kit (and lights too) I had liked at the time, which was for the 97-98 SC400....so I forked over a little more cash, and voila! I like the look so much better. Post a pic of yours if you have it handy....
