I'm thinking about shaving the bumper blinkers as well (since I'm keen to get the door mirrors with combined blinkers).

No don't do it, it will crack eventually. If you still want to do it , glue (high strength) the light's crevice around it and flush it with bondo.

this actually just gave me an idea..instead of having it completely shaved off..why not have a lens there which was smoked out, but blended in with the bumper so that it has a completely smooth surface..at day time, or when the lights arent on, it would look completely clean, but at night and when in use, there would be the light showing through..kind of similar to how the motorola krzr is done

yeah. my little brother actually did it. it came out pretty clean. just needed a fresh coat of paint, and it was good to go.

I'd prefer keeping the sidemarker, it doesn't hurt.

ok the tech way to do this would be to use either another bumpers urathane or get a piece of abs plastic and a soldering iron to blend the two pieces together that way its solid one piece fiberglass on urathane will crack and fall off there's no denying it in time it will happen then to smooth it out they make and epoxy blend that would fill just like bondo but for urathane thats just a professional 2cents
