Hmm, i always thought the SC had one of the most beautiful dashes ever. Even today looks beautiful. Look at most 15+ yr old cars and the dashes are not nearly as modern yet classic looking.... But you want to experiment, ok, I would also be concerned about the passenger legroom, its already decreased with the higher floorboard. If you really dont care about legroom, maybe you could just design a cabinet that goes all the way to the floor, you could put a refrigerator and a TV and a PS3 in there... :P
