Does anyone wish that the SC had a more raked look?

The car is good, but in some ways it looks like it's more suitable for an old man.

I have always liked a slight rake look as opposed to flat or the front-end wheelie look that some cars have. As others have said, rake = aggressive.

I agree here entirely... a little rake is perfect for these cars... kinda like I think if you are running lower profile tires, it looks more natural for a slightly smaller diameter front wheel... Most people don't realize I have staggered diameter wheel sizes unless they look close or I tell them...

At any rate, stock Supra shocks, Tein springs, and a tire that is .75" shorter in the front than the rear and you get this rake:

I went with Swift Springs to accomplish a small rake: 1.2F/0.8R drop for a Supra. I am a big fan of my springs in every way.

Obviously, coilovers could accomplish damn near any rake.

Too much rake will take weight off the rear wheels and make traction less available, but I think a little rake (less than 0.5" is appropriate).

If you want a big rake, I suggest HKS Springs for the Supra. They will accomplish a 35mm Front and 5mm rear drop on a Supra. This is about a 2.1F/0.8R drop on the SC. This would pretty much destroy suspension geometry, but it would make the stance mimic a 60's muscle car.

i think the interpretation was a little wide open but valid for either case.

in my case i was referring not to the wheel gaps but the height of the trunk. i liked the raked feeling (achieved by having a bigger squarer trunk) that the new is250/350 has:

aslo the g35 has a higher butt than the front:

or the new GS:

In my opinion a "raked" look is damn sexy on the SC's. Like in CleanSC's video when he first pulled it out of the garage... that is my goal for my car, or to atleast have it look half as sexy. There are many ways of accomplishing the look but money is always an issue.

on the rake look. Something subtle though... too much of one thing is never good IMO.

I think that Baoser's ride in what he calls "Rally Status" is IMO the ideal stance I would want on my car, over the "Slammed Status" look. It seems to have more of a mean, eager, aggressive, and prepared to battle look.

LOL... I wonder if the fact that im now 34yrs. old plays a big factor in this opinion. Since when I was much younger I recall I enjoyed bouncing around all over the road on my cars due to cut springs and such... I thought I was the coolest thing and felt others did too. I stiil once in a while see kids on the road also bouncing around all over the place, not being able to hold the BK cup of coke in their hand still to drink from, but they look at me like "ya fool... dont you wish you looked as cool as me and my slammed ride!"

Anyways... once again... I vote for a subtle rake look. Boaser's "Rally Stance" is ideally what I favor.

Makes sense, I like when I used to be able to clear stuff in the back...like my driveway . Anywho, I'm going to raise the rear a bit so that I am less tucked.
