trying to find an alternative to reupholstering the car. I was looking into supra seats...then I came across these corbeau's. They come in a tan color, and i know they are good for jeeps like the description says, but maybe they would look pretty decent in the SC??

what do you guys think? At $400 for the pair shipped, I don't think can be beat.
BTW...heres the original link...

They are ok, but, I just got tan supra seats a little while ago for a great price. Picked them up for $250 and they have no tears pretty clean and I think they are amazing!!! Very comfortable but sporty. You feel the car so much better. I'd say go for the Supra seats you wont be dissapointed. Also the Supra seats are a HUGE weight reduction in the SC.

Looks like it has smaller side bolsters than that of our slippery OEM seats! I agree with Jrm87, Supra seats look very similar to those and they match colors perfectly and retain power seats -lumbar

supra seats hug the bejesus out of your low back and thighs to keep you in the seat. I don't see that happening here.
If you are only concerned about getting new skins: this is an option. But, I would save up for the real thing and just get them reupholstered. It can't cost too much more than these.

I just looked at them as a cheap solution since each seat is ~200 with free shipping. I do like the way the supra seats look better but something in me has always wanted the sparco/corbeau/recaro seats...
I dunno, im stumped.

If you're gonna go the sparco/corbeau/recaro route, at least do it right with something that will actually hold you in your seat. Otherwise you'd be better off with supra seats or a leatherseats.com kit for the stock seats.

(2) The styling is marginal at best
(3) What is the weight of these seats?
Supra seats may take a little patience to find the right set in the right part of the country. But, I just got mine for $150, one tank gas, and a few hours in the car driving to Chicago. The seats I got were in similarly good condition to my stock seats (which sold for $250 on the classifieds).
Personally, I would stay patient on Supra seats. They are light, stylish, and fit like a glove in the car. Fitting universal seats without the appropriate bracket can be a nightmare.
