Default Side moldings interechangeable?

Hi guys,

Simple question, just curious as to whether or not the side molding on the 92-96 front 1/4 will fit the 97+ front 1/4. Just trying to figure this out since the 97s came with skirts and the pre-97s did not. Thanks

If I recall, the skirts should pop in the same holes the molding normally would.

But would the molding pop in the same place the skirt would?

I just did not want to assume, but you leave me no choice. Ty for the info.

This news kind of pisses me off because the molding from my old 1/4 was still attached to the damaged 1/4 and the body shop did not think to put that molding on the new 1/4, which did not come with one. So now I have a 1/4 on my car with no molding leaving an empty spot... sigh.

How much would these piece alone go for?

How many arms and legs you have to spare?

Your best bet is to get with one of our forum vendors, perhaps one of the used parts vendors.

When I first got my Sc 6 yrs ago there were no moldings up front and the fenders were brand new. I cut a strip of dodge neon door molding that my buddy had laying around and used gorilla glue to adhere it. Looked almost factory. Stayed that way for nearly 4 yrs until I went with the 97 kit.

Thats very interesting, haha. I'm in contact with Aliga now. So perhaps I'll be coming up with one soon. Just deciding whether I should replace it and collect some money or just use the money and pick up rocker arms. Decisions... decisions...
