I had one on the NSX - and through bad waxing from previous owner, the edges of the clear bra were very evident as they had turned white because of the wax.

On a lot of cars the overlay is not too glossy so it looks like orange peel. I have heard there are clear ones as well as the one's I describe above so buyer beware.

No, it does not cause any color variations. I removed it from my hood after about a year with no color changes from the rest of the hood.

The finish on the new Venture film has a clear coat, very easy to maintain and looks great! It does not look like orange peel that's for sure. Regardless if it had any, I would still rather have that to protect the bumper than hundreds of rock chips and new repainted front end every so often...

The film, even after 6 months or so has no discoloration whatsoever. It all depends on the installer, Sam @ Premier does a great job and goes edge to edge on my bumper so it is very hard to see even when up close.

Oh, don't forget to check out their gallery of customer cars. That itself was enough to make me choose them immediately for my clear bra installers. Installers are not created equal
would it mean that if u covered the entire care in that stuff then you would not need to wax the care FOREVER!!!!

If it was only that easy! You still have to care for the clear bra as if it was your paint...wax every so often to keep it in great shape, nice and smooth...

Well, I guess without the Venture film, it depends on the weather conditions when using a bra. If you get very humid weather from where you live, leave that bra on and see the magic it'll do to your paint. But if you get hot weather most of the time, it should do fine. I live in San Francisco, and the weather suks most of the time. My 10 yr. old Accord had color variations after using a bra continuously. I even remove it for wash every 2 weeks; it still did damage. But again, you might be right, but I'm just speaking from experience.
I think we are talking about different things. You said you can remove it for wash every 2 weeks? This is a semi-permanent film that is "clear" and does not block UV rays, hence, when removed...paint matches...

I cannot remove/clean/reinstall with this bra...

Here's some more pictures, maybe it'll help show what i'm talking about...
