Default Acleansc4.....

Hey

You did the 98 front bumper and sideskirt upgrade right?
Anyways, you dont have to buy anything other than the actually bumber/sideskirts to install do you? (like foglights ect...)?

Default didn't do it yet...

from my understanding, all you need is the front bumper and the sideskirts only. No additional parts needed for install. As for the fog lights, you're going to need them or else you're going to have two open areas where the lights would be at.

I'm planning to do this in a couple of months.
I'll definately post pics during the process!

Rhino, i've done the update. The 2K front bumper is a bolt-on, but you may have to adjust the inner lamps (brites) to get them to come flush with the bumper cover. You'll need the 97-2K foam absorber, or you can trim the top off your existing one, but I wouldn't recommend that since the new one is about $40. The metal support and the center frame are the same, despite what anyone may tell you. You'll need the 2K bumper cover and foam absorber, 2K grille, a new L emblem (or reuse yours), and the fog lamps (these are optional, the SC doesn't look bad without them, but i'm sure you want to do it the right way, they're about $250pr). Note that you'll have to fabricate something for the fog lamp wiring, the plugs are different, and I believe Lexus only sells the entire harness. If you like, I can post pics, I have plenty since I did more of the job than the knuckleheads at the body shop. I can also post the part numbers if you need.

We will soon have a OEM 97+ Front Bumper conversion kit on our site. I will post it up on our site tomorrow. Lex described all the parts needed to do the conversion and I will have all the part#'s listed on the site.
