Give it time. It might not break anything the first few times, but thats a sure way to tear up your car.

yeah.. your right... i guess 5 speed is the only way to go... or 6speed!!!!

Alright! You're making some improvements there. Just keep trying. My first time at the track was not that bad. I ran a low 17. I kept making passes until I had gotten it down to a 15.8 with just an intake and exhaust. Practice makes perfect!

Agree. This is the only correct and fast way to launh the auto tranny. The thing is you'll need to know the RPM point when it's best to let go. If you hesitate the gas while letting go of the brake, you'll lose time. It's not that hard, just practice for a day then go to the track. For the auto tranny, a higher stall speed torque converter will help you catch up the manual 5 speed.
