Default Good deal?

Hi guys - (first post)

I found a '97 SC 300 (actually 2) for sale around the corner from me that looks pretty nice, but I'm not sure what the going rate is for one of these.. Its a pearl white one, the paint is maybe an 8/10, its an auto and its got 138K miles on it, asking $8500. I've seen SC's go for less, but most of them were the older body style.. do we think I could get less for this?

Price is ok - not a steal, but not ridiculous either.

Have all maintenance records been kept/done?

I wouldn't call that a good deal. I would classify that as an ok deal. I once found a 96 5sp with 120k miles for 7000. That, I think was a good deal.

I got my 94 SC with 130k for 4800 to give you and idea. I think that was a great deal. It took me forever to find though.

You are in Texas, I see tons of SC's over there. Just be patient in your search.

i think its a good deal, as long as the inside and out are clean. besides if u get a cheaper older model, u wont get the 97 bumpers upgrade which a lot of people here spend lots on converting theirs with. plus on the 97 u get little things like softer leather and a bright white gauge cluster...

il anything, talk it down to $8000 or less. good luck!

same what he said, theres a lot more to put into the car- and not worry about the 97+ upgrades..
