check out my 1jz sc300..what its worth? GA
im contemplating whether its a good idea on selling this 1jz sc300.
ill probably will spent alot of money on restoring leather/ fresh new paint, etc things such as 5 speed swap and turbo swap..im taking my time doin it but i figured by the time i have a nice looking 1jz w/speed + turbo upgrade my car would have atleast 300K miles on the chasis..
it is currently at 240K miles on chassis and miles on the tt motor is unknown..but i would guess around 50-100K?? i have no clue.
anyways what do you guy think this car is worth if sold..
Mods are front mount, espilir springs, gs300 rims, jasma catback specifically for the soarer, cd head unit..gauges , ground kit, yellowtop battery, etc. pretty basic.
what do you guys think..anyone kno the history of it i;ve own it for less than a year and i believe it was bought from the previous owner already swapped and bought from autotrader ..(maybe from North carolina or something).
so i have no known history of this car..or who did the swapped..it looks like a very clean swap. motor was grounded all over the place..check out the pics and make a judgement for yourself. mayb someone would recognize it.
car located in georgia.

yeah come to think of it its not too bad..except i really dislike the high chassis mileage.. i feel like things are going to fall apart as mileage gets high like maybe suspension problems and whatnot. but this guy is selling his super clean 94 sc300(exterior clean ,interior leather no rips at all crispy tan clean lights look sharp and not dull) with stock motor for 6 grand at 150K miles he
..it make me think of selling this car and get the stock one and start a 1J project...
anyways i still need some info on this car's street value, i think the range is somewhat goin to be 7-85OO dollars..but more heads think better one.

My immediate thoughts center on your high estimation of its value. The car itself couldn't be worth more than $1,900 (less upgrades) on a great day. That said what is the value of the engine swap and aftermarket components second hand? I would think you would be hard pressed to get $4,000 for the package.

You could definitely get a lot more out of it if you fixed up the interior a bit and cleaned it up, but in it's present state I would say maybe 5000 tops. Looks familiar too, are you anywhere near Alpharetta? I've seen an SC that color with a FMIC rollin around there a couple of times. Not for a while though..
