It has 142k which is kind of high..but for these cars that is just breakng in. THe engine was replaced at 135k so it runs like new! I will end up selling it anyway... i have too many cars already!

That is an amazing deal for a 97 SC400. I am looking at a 1993 with about the same mileage for just under $6k.
Why so cheap? Does the car have a rebuilt/salvage title?

A very good deal no matter what. For a 97, anything below $6000 with the right miles is a steal. I paid $4300 for a 93 with 112k last month but it needs a paint job and seats were all torn up. Welcome to CL and put the money you saved from getting a good deal into maintenance and you'll love that car.
