Default Took some quick snaps of my 96SC300 **56k warning**

I recently bought a "true digital camera" a few days ago and have been dieing to get some good pics of my SC besides the one I have taken with my cell phone, so I ran out to a empty subdivision and took a few snaps. Not the cleanest its ever been, but still clean.

^^^Clear coat going bad^^^

Lookin' clean. You should take a few more pics after a nice wash, too. I'm still trying to get down the science behind washing my car to avoid getting water spots. Water spots are so damned annoying. I've tried almost everything so I started using a leaf blower to dry the car and also recently started using a microfiber wash mitt that can be used wet or dry. I've only used it wet/damp so far on my car and it does a great job of cleaning dried water runs and spots, etc.

thanks for the comments.....

As for water spots.... after you wash your car dry it off with one of those reusable towels in a can. Its late and I cannot think of what its called right now.

I will wash it on my next day off and wax it again and will take some great shots.

Yes its green. I was running out of sun in that spot so thats why its so dark. I increased the brightness on the pics, but they still look black. It was a last minute decision to take the pics.

nice car! looking clean!

and on the topic of washing your car, wash part by part, ie soap the front then rise, then soap the side, then rinse, etc.. pick up "the absorber" to dry your car, works excellent, and try to wash your car in shade or at least not directly in sunlight

"Guitarman" made a great post on washing/detailing your car, its in one of the main forums check it out@

The ABSORBER!! Thats what im thinking of!! haha, I could have just walked out to my garage and saw the package, but I was too tired.

Ya, I wash sections at a time and also have use the two bucket wash method: One bucket with soap and the other one with water to dip the mit in after I wash the car to get rid of any debris so they dont get into the soap bucket.

I litterally wash it a "fender at a time".

Its time for another wax, and im off on monday so I will wash and wax the bish.

Ya, I had my "sicker guy" make it for me when I went to the local drag strip. I wanted to do the "L" logo in it, like what ive seen around here, but at the time of production I couldnt find it, so we just went with the basic lettering.

If I have a vehicle that has a forum/website for it, I will promote that site. Its my way of helping out.

Im stuck between just doing a single turbo on the GE engine, or swapping out the engine.

If I change the engine, it will not be a 1jz or a 2jz tho. **evil grin**

I am trying to add some nitrous to it and get a higher stall connverter in it before the next midnite drag on Oct 10th. I want to break away from my 16.7 time and dip into the 15s with the right tune.
