I favor the MB Wheels since the Sportmax wheels are so unimagineably heavy. I also prefer the flow of the MB Wheels to the cookie-cutter look of the Sportmax. I think the MB's will look much better on the curvacious SC.

Although, I would try and find the MB wheels in staggered fitment with an offset other than +15. 18x9 +15 is super duper aggressive up front. You will need to run like a 215 and negative camber to sneak inside the stock fenders. Out back, I doubt you would fit more than a 235. Something like 18x8 +30 and 18x9.5 +30 would be much nicer fitment.

they are lighter than cast iron, but well heavier than the majority of the aftermarket wheel manufacturers.

I have read of a number of accounts of the noticeable parasitic losses due to an increase in rotational inertia at the wheels from Sportmax rims.

I don't like either design that much but the Sport Max 962 is the better-looking design, imo. I actually like the gun metal and silver/machined colors a little bit better on those wheels. Someone on CL has them on their SC, I think. The 962 five-spoke design looks a little like my old 17" Team Loco Series 143 wheels (silver/machined lip) I used to have on my Honda.
