Default Visual or Audible Signals when using Remote

I know that most vehicles will blink the lights or let off a quick beep whenever you lock or unlock the vehicle using the remote. I have a '94 SC, so that is pretty old and it doesn't do that for me. Sometimes I lock it manually before closing the door, other times I don't so every time I use the remote to lock it, I have to check and make sure. Is it even possible to modify it to do this or is it impossible due to the lack of specific electronics?

Yup, I asked this question a while ago. I'm sure it is possible with some wiring, but it is much easier to get an aftermarket alarm.

Thanks for the feedback. So what brands would you recommend?
