Did you use AudioGalexy to play your songs? If so, try to reinstall it again and see if you get your songs back. If not, which software do you use to play your songs? RealPlayer? WMP? etc. RealPlayer and WMP have capability of scanning your hard drives for the songs.

what format are your songs in? MP3? gotot the start button and click on search and for files and folders and put *.mp3 in the search field, it will bring up any and all MP3 songs on your hard drive. I doubt that your songs are deleted, it is just that when your program got uninstalled you just cant retrieve them. Install the program again and point the program to the folder that you find in the search function and it will load all of your songs and they will be ready to play again

Use Norton Utilities to unerase the files. I doubt you have any scrubbing software running so it should be an easy restore.

Just to make sure do a search for *.mp3 on each of your drives.

Also try not to write to your disk. If you do and the space where your MP3s used to be is written over kiss those old files goodbye.

They are probably in your recycle bin if you have not emptied it.
Go check it and see.

Hi Hermosa,

I dont see you much around here. What year is your SC400, is it in mint condition?

It is not in mint condition. I have been debating on whether to fix up the car cosmetically or just use the money and get the SC430. With the 4500GT possibly on the horizon though I am tempted to wait.

If I add up the cost of the things I want to do to the car then I have a huge down payment on the SC430. I almost struck a deal with MO and Marken from Swift Racing where I would have let them develop the Stage 3 SC as well as the intake/ecu combo on my car but I am hesitant to put the $$$ on a car that might develop other problems soon.

One option I was thinking of was to get the SC430 and add a Stage 3 supercharger but then the powertrain warranty I just would have bought is void. If the car happened to be a lemon from the factory(rare but can happen) I would be stuck with it since they would not take it back, a very expensive mistake.

The thought of a just over 4 second 0-60 SC430 makes me drool I was promised around 400RWHP.

all good suggestions for getting your file back. I don't really think its worth spending the money for this just for mp3's but if you know someone with a piece of software called Easy Recovery made by Ontrack that will surely restore your files. Even after a format or virus strikes. Nice software, and I use it at work so I know it works.

Default mp3

go to start, find and search for *.mp3 then enter..
Make sure u are searching in the hard-drive (C,D, or E) [usually is c] and not on cd-rom or floppy drive.
this should find all the mp3 format files in ur computer.

Hope this helps.

if it doesnt work.

re-install the program and do what u did at that start.
