Congrats dude. Turned out really good. Nice and subtle too. Very clean install from the first pic.

Good job on the window trim man. Any more pics of that console? Wondering if it is a custom stereo cover.

Thanks for the comments, i'm happy about the mod now! If anyone else does this, post the pics in the thread or PM me.

As far as the radio spacing insert goes I'll post more pictures of it tomorrow. It is a custom piece that I purchased from someone on CL, who mass manufactured them for awhile. The person's name evades me, and I know that particular person no longer fabs them.

It is just a pretty thin plastic piece, custom cut to fit, with tabs that hold it in place from behind. Plain black ... I just put the CF on there. Costs me $50 shipped.

PS. SC300Max ... thanks again for the power steering pictures

It is a 100% inprovement from the scratched trim. I forgot to ask last night, does the chair work correctly now?

I did this on the trim piece for my 3000GT that is right beside the window and it looked 100% better. Mine was fading to an almost white in some areas. Have always thought about doing it on the Lexus, but never got around to it. I think this has inspired me to do it. Good job!!!!

I apologize if this is a useless bump, but this would be the first non-cell phone picture of the pillar... hopefully it makes it more clear. A decent mod (if your trim looks bad) for cheap IMO.

Blitz makes these to fit the 1SC's application. I know because I brang in the first set. Only advice on the Blitz ones though is to get them extra clear coated because my clear coat started getting messed up after like a year and a half. Other than that they fit perfect and is real carbon fiber.
