The SC is of its own class

The supra is kind of I guess.. but many people would probably pick the poopra over the sc

 

I'd say 350 or G35/37. Only because they are always worried about us on the road. They get the looks cause they are newer and it seems you can go 10 feet without seeing one. But we get the looks because we are better and there are so few of us out there that people stare a little longer to admire the quality that we put into our cars! Just my opinion!

 

Before I even read the thread just the title, I was thinking Nissan 240. G35 and 350z make sense too. All three can be extremely quick with the right parts but looks I think the SC body style is timeless. I would like to have a G35 (G37) or 350z (370z) but the thing is they are just everywhere now, at least where I live. I love my car because you don't see them everyday and I love just embarrassing some of these people when I decide to get on it.

 

The SCs rival is obviously the Buick Riviera.

It made the lexus look like a baby and the buick a huge monster.

 

Right off the bat id say the 240 crew..especially 95/96 style. I guess they think 1/2j platform compared to their Rb/Sr, if not the looks . They do look pretty sweet when hooked up right also

 

Looks like it. The presenter had a jacket with a Buick logo on it.

 

I think the MB SL class of the 90's was a strong rival. It had a I6 with 228hp (compared to the SC's 225) and a V8 with ~300hp. I was actually thinking about picking up one of the V8's when I had the money.

 

When it was new I would go with: Acura Legend Coupe, Cadillac Eldorado, Jaguar XJS, Lincoln Mark VIII, and MB E320 Coupe (300) & S500 Coupe (400).

This is based on the 1995 SC.

mb clk320 & 430 aslo legend coupe all classics but like it was said b4 sc is in a class by itself

 

whenever i see classifieds listing that are either selling an sc or have sc as possible trade, i see alot of subarus and 350z's but there is always the tuner crowd that likes sc's for their cheap 2jzge and so i'd say 240sx's and small ricer cars probably hate sc's because they are the rival tuning car.

Either way everybodys just jelous

 

SC's don't have rivals because grandma and grandpa don't race

 

Honestly, I love the S coupe. I would rather have that over the SC. but the reliability..

 

For some reason when I am out cruising these guys think they are....
