Does this fit into auto console?

Yes. It fits like a glove. Ive done it to my SC when I converted it from Auto to Manual. You could even pop out the "Lexus" thing and insert the seat warmer buttons. New leather feels nice doesnt it?

i dunno if it will work perfectly, as u can see the boot ends right about the area of the space for the ebrake. if u put it on the auto i'm guessing u might lose atleast L and maybe even 2
this is my first auto so i dont even kno wat those r for, for like hilly areas and pulling trailors, i dunno lol
i live in fl so i do neither, think i might try it

lol, consider yourself lucky you've never owned an auto before, but let me enlighten you.
1 and 2 can also be used for really super fun possibly blow up your tranny
but sometimes you could care less shift mode. (also for donuts)

I'll add another confirmation to this subject.
Those 2 panels are a direct fit. They snap into the designated positions.
I also had an auto, so it was curiosity that led to me switching things around, just for the hell of it

Not sure if it will fit, but another idea would be to use a Razo quickshift auto shift **** in conjunction with the manual shift boot. The overdrive/ect buttons would have to be relocated, but I think it would look pretty cool. Here is a link to some pics of how the Razo ***** look:

yea, went and wiki'd it to educate myself. L locks it in 1st, and ofcourse 2 doesnt allow to shift pass 2nd. had the car for a while and havent used em so i can guess i can do without.
if the day ever comes that i need to warm some slicks, theres always a line lock ryt?
and to save me from worrying about relocating the o/d, its ok to just have it permanently on cause its basically 4th gear.
oh, think this would be a nice match
i'm such a ricer, i kno

i would just rewire the od button and the power/normal button to somewhere else. shouldn't be very hard. in fact you can even change the power/normal switch into a single on/off switch with a little ingenuity. no biggie.

Not quite. O/D changes the gear ratios for all the gears. So the shifts are held off for a bit longer when O/D is off. It also allows you to get into the 4th gear.

all this ricer this and ricer that it sounds like a honda forum were just trying to make the car look a little bit up to date, this is far from ricer, you would call the benz c-class a ricer would you it has the same thing

I personally love this idea. Having an automatic I feel like the shifter is just too boring. Adding a leather shifter boot and a nice shifter would spice up the interior of my SC IMO. Just dont know if its a direct bolt in and all this talk about losing OD,ECT,Heated seats ect.
