Does this fit into auto console?
Guys,
Does this fit into the console that goes around the automatic, or do 5-spd people have a completely different console surround (thing that goes around radio etc.)>>>???

I read on an ebay auction that it did fit, but I am not taking that to be correct. Hopefully someone has the answer.

The hole placement for the shifter is in a different spot but I believe the overall shape is the same.

As far as the shape of it, it should fit right in. From the following link, there is only one version of the console surround so that piece should fit no matter if its auto/manual:

Yeah it should fit the console itself, I believe it was a matter of shifter position.

kinda like that clean benz look w/ the shift boot for the automatic shifter. looks pretty good....on the C class haha gonna be tough to make it look good for us tho
