I usually dont take it off but if I do I just put it in one of the seats. Ive shown somone how to take it off and on and they still could do it. The collar lock some people just cant grasp....

Not that its the best reason to ditch the airbag... but the hubs used for aftermarket steering wheels are design to break off (all momo hubs at least) in the event of an accident. Sure it'll still hurt like hell... but it should reduce the chances of ur cause of death to be the steering wheel.
