Default which brand is good for wiper?

I've been using wiper(refill) from pepboys and I need to change once a month-2 months.
and just curious what brand is good for wiper,
the rubber is making noise everytime I use now.
it's getting annoying.
thanks

I am happy with the Bosche micro-edges. Funny, I had bad experience with those failing pre-maturely several years ago when I tried them. Then I went with some other brand, whatever.. did the job for several months. Now I am back to the Microedge Bosche again!

I say, if you go with Bosche, pay the extra and use THEIR wiper arms.. they work well with THEIR wipers. A mistake I didnt do the second time..

Taka, you may want to try out the hard to find PIAA silicone wipers. I got me a set on Ebay for the SC. The guy even made up a mixed pair, one being 21 and the other 20 inches. I am not running them yet but they look swell. They are pricy. Figure on $25 per blade. They come with a gell that conditions the windshield. According to one speed shop here in CT once you use these you are hooked. How well they stand up to ice and snow is unknown.

The bosch micro edges are a great product and they are what i have used on my wipers. They have lasted pretty long for me, as we dont have much rain at all here in texas.

The rubber inserts from Kragen work fine for me. The Bosch Micro Edges come into different series. The older thinner one and the newer ones which, are almost exactly the same as the Mercedes OEM wipers. I think they are called Micro EdgeII. Either one should do as, for the PIAA blades. The wiper rubbers are silicone which, will leave a residue on the windshield to repel water. At$25 a pop. that is a lot. RainX wiper blades have the same thing and cost half the price at a pair at your local Costco/Sam's Club. The problem with this silicone film is that it is very difficult to take off and it may smear later. Use a lot of Bon Ami if, you have this problem.
