Wheel BLOW OUT..NOT TIRE but Wheel... What can i do??
the pics pretty much say everything.
Before:
After (cell phone pics):
Heres the deal: I left my car at home (go to college up in santa barbara); so my sis and mom go run to best buy and other places today and out of no where the wheel blows around the plaza blvd exit on the 805s. theyre both okay which is the good thing (just swirved but got to a safe place by the exit) .when they called me i thought the tire blew out but when i got the pics i was like "WTH!!" is this a factory defect?? should i report it to Stern? Someone seriously could of gotten hurt.

DAMN! That's a new one for me! I thought I'd seen just about everything, but that's just crazy! What kind of wheels are those and how long have you had them? Was it a rear wheel? I would definitely tell someone about this. There's no way that should've happened under any circumstances.

It doesnt look like they really hit something cause the rest of the rim and tire look perfect. Like the Spokes were defective and just broke cause it looks odd how it broke it was pretty clean.

yeah i sent them an email today. there was no prior signs that this would happen. i didnt hit anything with them, drifted them, or even driven on them at ridiculous speeds. this car was my daily driver to school.

It won't make a difference. The clamps on the tire machine grab onto the inner portion of the wheel when you hit the pedal. It will come off the wheel the same as it normally does.
