Default Think Im saying goodbye to the SC

I really wished that I could keep it (I had a ton of plans for it). But its not looking like thats feasible at this point. School and other of lifes little "pop-ups" has kept me from realizing what this car could be.

The opportunity has popped up to buy an 02 BMW 525i with less than 34,000 miles. I'm still a little torn right now as to whether I should go ahead and pull the trigger yet.

2000 pearl SC300 with 44,000 miles.

What would you do?

It's really up to you man. If you like the bmw more, go get it, if you love the SC more, keep that.

i think you will regret it... to own a timeless classic car is better to own "what the parents bought for their kid when they turned 18"... =/.. if i had a bmw i would trade it for prime sc anyday.

I would keep the clean 97+ SC. I've heard too many horror stories about BMW reliability or lack thereof.

I was thinking the same thing a few months back. If its not the new 5series, like 05 or newer then its not worth it, especially it being a 525...not worth it.

Now a 540 6spd...Id say hell yea...but not a 525.

I would keep the sc. If its bothering you that much to get rid of it then you obviously love the car. just keep it and do what you gotta do and eventually your car will be as good as you want it. nothing comes easy

Why would you go to BMW if you have money issues? BMWs are know to be problamatic even with low miles. Stay with the SC.
