Thats a 5spd alright, but how clean is your corolla? You probably have a better chance selling the corolla buying ths sc and leaving some cash in your pocket.

i say keep the 86, SCs arent that fun to drive. SC=big, fat, and heavy. but if you have the moolah then have both. youll definitely miss your rolla if you get rid of it. dont get me wrong, SCs have potential, specially with the ladies, hah. they feel like a boat sometimes, thats why i got my s13 to mess around with but if you want baller status and want to be fast with alot of aftermarket support get a s14!

yes, im a nissan convert but i still got the same love for my toyotas.

I would disagree. I had an AE86 that was completely gutted with a bunch of suspension and a roll cage, and while that car would handle like nobody's business I honestly have more fun driving my SC than I ever did that car.

Consider doing a 6-speed conversion when you buy that SC from your girlfriend. That way, you will only swap transmissions once, and, with a nice triple-plate carbon clutch, it'll be ready for any future modifications.

Not that it matters anymore. But the sc on the first page was a hardtop... I tried to go buy but didnt make to the drivenconcepts shop in time. The guy sold it. Said he couldnt turn down the cash.....oh well.......

How rare are hardtop SC's anyway?

Heres a real good thing to look for, the carpet! Yes, the carpet. If you notice on the driver side foot well the part next to the clutch pedal where you rest your left foot should have two rows going down instead of three like the automatics. Also the cluster would be a dead giveaway. I converted mine but there are still some little things I have to get rid of or change out so it can be a 100% converted SC.
