Ok so i got my hands on a single stage rx300 airbag, now im wondering if that will fit in a is300 steering wheel? i tried searching but i can find anything. thanks guys!

The link says it does, but I don't think it will fit. The airbag shapes are different if I remember correctly and just wouldn't flow. Grab a steering wheel from a SC430, GS430 or the like to get the "thumb grips" on the steering wheel...

Unless, you didn't like the wood from the models mentioned above, you can get a Camry steering wheel...

guys, will 98 passenger side airbag fit a 95?? i know it needs the 98 wood trim, if i have that as well will it fit?

It will not fit... 97+ are different.... sorry...

I posted that thread. After the mix and match game , the RX airbag won't fit the IS wheel.

Airbags that will fit the IS: Celica and Rav4.

sorry im not asking about the steering wheel anymore, im asking about the passenger side, i just didnt feel like making another post.

I THINK the 98 plug will fit my sc300, but i just want to make sure before i start tearing everything apart. I would hate to find out the hard way
