New to the forum
Hello my name is Eddie,I'm new to the forum. Well I been registered for a while but I don't believe I have posted before. I am thinking of buying a SC300 5 speed for a while now. I just never researched what I should be familiar with before buying one. Example: What are common problems, how many miles should I expect on the life of the car, and over all maintenance cost?
What I expect the car is something fun to drive, mostly suspension, looks, and once the engine is shot start looking into a swap. Thank you guys!

Lexus Test Driver
I would look for a Lexus (or any car you want) locally on craigslist.org, etc. I should have bought my Lexus on craigslist but got mine at a used car dealership from searching online for local Lexus'. I first saw it on AutoTrader and just fell in love with it. Soon after I bought it, I had to spend $1850 on maintenance so it wasn't exactly the warm welcome I was expecting and hoping for when I bought my first Toyota/Lexus (sneaky used car dealer). So that's why I won't buy another used car from a dealership because they just try to make as much money off of people as they can get away with. I wish I would have picked up a Lexus on craigslist that had all or a lot of the major maintenance done already, saving me a lot more money.
