OO good tip about painting the edge, nice catch. alriite, ima bout ready to try this out for myself on my next double day off
Anyone know if Pep Boys or the like would have taillight smoke paint??? i know of the places u can order it online but i cant seem to find any local vendors. south san diego.

I am spraying the inside of my headlights with regular auto paint. base+clearcoat. we'll see how it goes. also for the tails If you use auto paint you can just mix the color right in with your clear and make a single stage type of material. It adds a lot of depth...

On my last SC I painted them flat black w/ some high temp paint. This pic was taken a few months afterward.
Oh, and the inside of my headlights actually melted after a long (18+ hour) roadtrip.. I guess I had them on just a little too long. Dont mind the timestamp.
edit: I'm also a fan of de-lining that small portion of the headlight cover.
