i think white would look ok at best, its not too far off of the OEM chrome look and its less shiny. i bet reds or blues even dark greens would look Badass

Thats kinda what I mean ... if you had a white SC with red accents (calipers, engine accents etc) than red in the headlight MIGHT look good.

I'd be interested in seeing it... ya know!

Ya I couldn't get all the yellow out of mine so I painted them. I think red might be too many colors on a DPW car. It might be to ricey with the black and white. I saw red on red and liked it.

You can't really photoshop that... The reason is because the white that you would photoshop in would be over the actual lens on the headlight. Therefor you would have to find a picture of just the lens and then just the housing without the lens. I have tried it before and it just doesnt come out that well.

Just go paint your's white and see what it looks like

I painted mine with high temperature flat black spray from my local Walmart. It turned out great.

My advice is to paint the inside edge of the lens itself as well, since you will get a grey halo effect around the headlight if not. I had to do mine twice because of this oversight.

Check this out...

Before (with nasty gray halo):

After (painted inner lens rim):

Paint the inner lens rim requires taping off the entire inner lens center to only expose the rim to the spray, but this is easily accomplishable with a little patience. The result is well worth the tribulation.

It's a personal preference, but I much prefer the blacked out look to the stock chrome accents (for comparison):
