Are those side skirts on the SC....or is that just how the body is starting in 96?
If they are skirts, can they be fitted on the pre 96 cars or do they look junky then?

You can actually fit both of the bumpers and the side skirts from the '96 & up onto a previous model. Check your local salvage for parts before contacting the dealer.

When you say both of the bumpers....you mean front and back right?
How about the front grilles on the 96....can you retrofit those too...as I assume you would have to get the 96 hood....grill....?

You're not gonna find those parts in a salvage yard, and if you do, i'd still recommend using new Lexus parts. The conversion is not hard, basically all bolt-on, with a couple of exceptions. 97-2K grille cannot be retrofitted, you need the bumper cover, foam absorber, grille, fogs, etc. Hood is the same. I can give you more details if you need.

Yeah Luthor, what was the damage for the conversion? Did you get the grill and fog lights from the dealer as well? Or did ya get them from a salvage yard?
