this is a really good idea, how does the bumper flow with the rest of the kit? can we get a side and rear shot possibly?

I was going to ask you guys about this and I was going to post pictures but didn't have enough time.

If I level the front lip to the same gound clearance as the JIC side skirts, The front lip is 4" from the gound ( I think it's a PITA to drive my car like that ).

What I'm thinking is raise the lip an inch more ( 5" from the gound ) but it won't flush with the sideskirts... But I think it does not matter since i'm overlaying a CF on the lip. Plus it will be easier for me and not to scrape that lip.

I'll post picture tommorow morning and see what I'm talking about.

--HAPPY THANKSGIVING.

yes please do, because I was wondering just what a stock 97 and up bumper would look like with the jic skirts and rear lip. I saw the sweet deal on ebay for the kit, I just don't feel to good about the jic front bumper.

It's really hard to tell from the picture if the front lip flush with the sideskirt.

Should I keep it 5 inches from the ground or 4 inches to match the sidekirt?

Same pic without the captions... to see clearly even if it's not. I should have taken a side view picture.

Looks good, and the custome route is always a good way to go. Agree with what some of the others have said tho, keep the lip,, skip the CF. Will look much cleaner this way.

No CF?..... I will try to overlay a carbon fiber and if it didn't turn out right I can paint it anytime.

So do you guys think I should flush the front with the sides or keep it 5 inches from the ground?

Thanks for the input guys!

Just my 2 cents worth, am not personally a fan of CF, so I say just lose that look and flush it completely for a nice clean look. As far as 5" or 4", I would say judge the roads in your area and determine ow much of a headache it will be to have it level all the way around. How steep are the driveways, etc. Do you want to have to deal with scrapping issues, etc. A level kit, improvised or otherwise will always five a symetrical, clean appearance, but in reality you need to do what you need to do.

i think you should level it out..one inch is kind of noticeable from the side especially..at first..with the captions pic..i thought it was fine..then then on the 2nd pic..i noticed that it was rather a big difference..so bring it down a bit..maybe half an inch if you dont want to exactly match it

Just bought a carbon fiber cloth and started overlaying. Never done this before, turned out pretty good. Its fun to do but the mess of resin is no fun. I'll see if this front lip will look good on the 97 bumper... if not I will color match it.

Who cares... blah blah.
