The 3m tape will hold it for sure ,just make sure you clean the surface with the 3m cleaner .Its not being getto.... its improvising

yeah ppl use 3m double side tape to install lips and such sometimes.

DX3 im having the same problem. Did you find out a part number for this clip?? If not what did you do? Ive been to the dealer 3 times 3 different part numbers and $60 bucks later nothing..
