Default Help putting on 97 sideskirts?

Guys,

Been trying to get my 97sideskirts on my 93 for quite some time. I kept being without the correct mounting tabs/bolts so I ended up getting mad and ordering every bolt/nut/washer/tab available for the side of the car. Somehow, I still don't have the right thing.

I need whatever it is that goes into what I have circled

Anyone know what this part is?

Jonny

AGAIN?!?!?

LOL Hope you get whatever you need this time (before you set this thing on fire)

Those appear to be push tab receptacles (those plastic things that lock into place when you push them in a hole .... it works like you do ).

i think something like this goes in there
there are a billion different versions of this clip, slightly different shapes sizes and colours, but you get the idea

the top of the clip slots into the parts you have circled, and the other end of the clip goes into a hole

Yes, I have about 5 different types of these and none of them work I have yellow ones, pink ones, off white ones, white ones - and still none of them work

In fact, I spent just shy of $150 in bolts/tabs/fasteners and still didn't get the right ones

Are you holding your mouth right?

I usually stick my tongue a little to the left and made a constipated face and they snap right in.

Wow, $150? That's too much. What about the clips from the pre 97 moulding?

Yes, way too much. The clips from pre-97 are a different style and don't fit. Lexus parts dept. can't seem to help me either which is pretty weird - you know, because this is their job

Yeah, bottom I have covered. Just these clips are causing a problem. A body guy I was speaking to suggested using some 3M double sided tape as the rest of the sideskirt would already be held in with clips anyway - and that the only reason to attach these parts is just so they don't stick out...

You think that is ghetto? I have done everything else right so don't want to cut corners, but this is killing me not being able to find this stuff out

Jonny
