I repaired the carpet grommets today! Did it myself! Besides repairing the passenger door "wont open from the outside because the plastic clip broke" this is now the cheapest repair to date. And yes I repaired the door too!

I ordered some parts today to fix the back lighting in the cluster. Here is the AMAZING thread on that:

Can't wait to get that restoration under way!

Default Runs awesome

I just drove it from las vegas to phoenix, drove all over phoenix, then back through flagstaff, williams and kingman AZ.

Ran perfect, AC ice cold, got 24.7 mpg one leg of the trip. Cruising 80-85 mph with cruise control on.

I have put a lock on everything that has to do with looks and upgrades if it does not help the car or help me drive it. I need desperately to get my car back to stock body but instead, I just purchased the HUGE OEM timing belt/water pump/seal kit, plugs, wires, caps, rotors, engine coolant temp sensor, coil packs, fuel filter, thermostat and more. I went on and purchased and refinished stock headlights and put HID's in them as my Halo Projectors the car came with were so dim they were straight-up dangerous. The over the top body parts will stay on until i can drive this Bit&$ to Cali and back with no worries (outside of questions about my tastes ;-).
I did however splurge once and buy some used Work Wheels soon to be mounted and maybe dropped.

Since last year I have replaced the brakes & rotors, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, valve cover gasket, alternator, shocks, battery, upgraded to hids, windshield wipers, fuel pump (twice) and fuel filter. I also, replaced and upgraded all of my speakers and my head unit. Next on my list is to redo my dash cluster and climate control. My interior looks like_____ and I am researching my options. If you have any suggestions... chime in.

This thread is awesome...I shamefully have to admit my sc is in desperate need of a paint job, but it seems like I have replaced everything but the transmission so far. The only reason the intake is on there is because it was 30$ shipped. The exhaust I had to have done due to emissions last month and hollow cats. Figured with the cats going in I might as well buy the Megan straight through style knock offs lol.
