Default Which wire to tap for light wire on gauges

I know someone posted some good electrical diagrams, but I cant seem to find them. Im installing gauges and cant figure out which wires to tap for 'light' so my gauges light up only when the lights are turned on.

You can grab it from the radio, the cluster, or the climate. With a volt meter simply find the one that varies in voltage with the ****.

Perhaps the easiest way though is to simply grab it at any of the lights that dim on the dash such as perhaps the key ring, or cig lighter plug (I know it lights, does it dim?).

I would use the wire to the headlight. That way the guage light would only turn on when you need it to at night time.

Mine goes to the key-on power wire in the hazards button. My cig lighter doesn't work so we used a test light to find something close that did.
