If Sideways Autosound did that...they did a hell of a job.
great looking car.
Yup. Sideways did it all. Jesse is a god when it comes to all that stuff. Only thing is that he is the only painter/body guy. So he'd be doing all the work himself. He is definitely a perfectionist. When I called him asking how things were going, he'd say "eh, I don't know man, it's coming out alright." Well I'm content with his definition of "alright." Lol. Mine should be coming out the shop soon. But I agree, there is a real small Lexus group here, but we can't figure out why. Lol.

I love the orange sidemarkers
We decided against it. We really like smooth lines on the side of the car w/o any distractions. To each his own though. Good comment.

Yeah, we thought about real wide VIP wheels at one time but aggressive wasn't the look we were going for. We were looking for more classy, good set of wheels that are wider then wheels that comes on newer cars now. I believe we achieved that. But if we ever get bored, maybe in the future.

Jesse took and posted this picture on TRS forums to show off his paint work. This is the day we went and picked up the red one. Don't mind the dirt both cars collected. Lol. They clean up real nice as you can see from post #1.

Sideways does a lot. We got more than just the kit and paint.

We got the fogs wired to the aux, magnaflows installed, 15% tint all around (except front) and a few maintenance things.

I will have pictures of the magnaflows later. Also will have a sound clip of my brother SC4 and my SC3. They are quiet! I love it.

Yeah.. the highbeams are deep too. Maybe a replica kit? Still nice looking though.

It actually is a replica. Really crappy replica from Race on USA but my painter is a killer painter and worked through all of the cheap quality for cheaper than the JIC by itself (kit only cost $450 shipped). You are the first one to notice. But the high beams were built to sink in because of some fitment issues, our painter actually built around it so there are no gaps.

We decided on this because the actually JIC leaves gaps where you can see through and it was misaligned. So our RACE ON USA one probably would have even larger gaps (and it did).

So he called us up and asked us would we'd like it lined up with gaps or maybe sinking in but filled around it so it looks solid and pretty good with no gaps. We decided the solid, pretty good, and no gaps option.

So in the end, our painter found a good solution that still makes it look good. He repositioned the high beams to fit better and also filled around it so there'd be no gaps at all. Overall, good solution, not 100% perfect as it was meant to be, but a savings of $1000+, I'd live with it.

In the end, the paint, kit install and the tint combined were cheaper than buying the authentic JIC kit by itself.

As for the hood, the front bumper and hood isn't 100% flush, but no more than maybe 1/10 of an inch if that. Not a big deal to us. Definitely made up in the price. Good eye though!

Moral: Don't buy RACE ON USA body kits unless you have an insane perfectionist for a painter. I lucked out. Lol.

Correction: we bought 2 body kits, so they gave us a discount. Only $399 shipped for one full kit. It was through eBay.
