the sportmax's look retarded as hell. one of the cheapest looking wheels in have seen in a long time. and heavy as a mule too. ASA AR1 get my vote. just get wider then 18x8. and find the lowest offset. with a +35ish on 18x8 or what ever the offset is....it will look dumb and a waste of money.
i would go with RBmotoring as well. you can find some great wheels for a descent price. patience is the key to this game. you can always go out and blow your money on some wheels, then you will hate them every time you look at your car if you dont get the right set....even on a budget.

If you could manage, just dump it on the stocks and save up for the ones you really want. IMO you'll feel better that you didn't settle. Don't cheat your car out of potential. Believe me, nice wheels make the difference, you'll know it and so will everyone else! GL w/ your decision.

if youre gonna spend $500-800 on just rims, you might as well get some tt wheels, theyll look better than any of those IMO
edit: here are some nice 18s ranging from $600 - $900 sans tires

HoeBag has the right idea... RB motoring has some great deals on good condition JDM wheels which will look great on the car. I can understand if you would rather have new rims though. In that case, I think the Sport Max are the best looking of the 'budget' wheels.

how so? some are in the 20s and some are in the 30s. for 8s and 9s you really wouldnt wanna go lower or higher than that, and if you did youd wanna get wider wheels or custom wheels altogether. for his price range, i honestly think those are great choices.
ya, like cherplex said memoryfab.com also has a decent selection. takumiproject.com also has some nice used wheels.
also, dont forget to haggle if you go this route! often times they have wheels sitting there for a long time and are willing to knock hundreds of dollars off the listed price.
