Default rim choice - need opinion

how would these look on a 97 black SC400?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...TQ:MOTORS:1123

i think it should look pretty hot. i don't want chrome, but would prefer silver.
if i get them i would also put on the eibach prokit to lower it by 1"

anyone able to do a quick photoshop to show me how these wheels would look on a black sc?
anyone have the same wheels?

somebody, can't think of which user, has them on their SC or something very close to it. I'm kinda neutral on the style (thick multi-spokes, I guess). I could think of a lot more wheels I'd rather have but they look nice and I think chrome or silver would look good, but for some reason I'd lean more for the chrome with that wheel design. Nice chrome wheels (not ghetto) can look nice on SCs, IMO.

I wonder why they took the picture with that white plastic center cap
I also recall seeing someone with those rims around here.

I think they'd look nice... OEM look.

I agree with RI-Lex, they would look great once spacers were added.

I would pick the 17's off the 2nd gen GS or Supra TT wheels over those.

And as RedPhoenix said, XD9's in good offsets will look really good, and can be had for a reasonable price.

I have a dark green SC400 and I am going to run a set of the XD9's in gray with 18x9 and 18x10.

Should look good.

Waiting for my Tein CST coilovers and some other bits and pieces to arrive before I put it all together.

Pretty weak offsets and widths, probably better off going aftermarket for that price.

Skip eBay and the massive shipping.

Start checking your local Craigslist - I got some IS300 wheels in great shape for $200 no shipping obviously. I saw plenty of IS350, GS300-430's for around $400-$500. Better price plus save on the shipping.

I guess it all depends where you live though, prolly not too many in South Dakota. Cali should be loaded though

A lot of better wheels out there IMO; even for that price.
