Agreed.
The scratch on the fender is exactly where the bumper studs are located. I bet they were taking it up a ramp, and because of the kit and drop, there was not enough ground clearance to take the slope cleanly.
I would guess that the bumper got caught on the ramp, the front wheels lifted off the ground, the stress on the fiberglass and the studs was too much, and the bumper gave way. Once the bumper was fubar, they cut their losses and removed it entirely, making the car more easy to transport
It is good to see you are being justly compensated. You have a pretty good amount of paint and body to do.

Sorry about your losses
I am afraid for my SC because the Military is about to put it in storage. But I have been the only SC in Italy for about 5 years now! Good to see a fellow SC brother arrive overseas. thats really sucks. I would of taken the kit off before shipping it.
Its cool that youre getting reimbursed for the kit but its a headache to deal with getting your money,finding a kit and getting your car back to the way it was. Good luck with everything.

damn bro, that sucks. sorry to see your car that way. i was kind of thinking the same things as SHERN bcus why would they just take the bumper. GL getting your car back in shape, and if you can, use some of the extra $ for some other goodies!!

haha yeah the paintings and the solid gold bars i had stored in the bumper!! hahaha i wish....
well all the screws are missing as well as the bumper, and NO the intercooler is not gone, OBVIOUSLY, and i just got the car the other day, hence the reason im mad about the bumper so how could i steeet race in italy if i just got the car? haha so the answser is no.
and the other ?s yes im going to get a real kit hopefully, but the shipping will be outragous.
