Default Value of polished TT wheels

I'm looking at buying some anniversary edition wheels that are polished for the track. All have curb rash. I had not heard this but the seller said that these wheels are lighter than the other TT wheels It seems the regular TT wheels with curbrash sell for about 400 500 bucks shipped. Are the polished wheels worth any extra money? Also off topic but you can PM me if you have any TT wheels you would like to sale.

Thanks for any help

I'd die for some TTs. Polished TTs, even better.

He must have the 98 TT wheels because they weigh 1.15lb less each wheel.
See here (scroll to bottom):

Generally, people will pay quite a sum for the TT wheels because they are so popular and high in demand for our car, even though most of them are loaded with curb rash. 400 is usually a good deal, I got mine with racing tires and loads of thread. 600 is high if it doesn't come with tires at all. But if you are getting the 98 wheels, definitely get them

I got mine for a really good deal at 450 with two good tires. No curb rash, and they were all near mint. I would not pay more than 500 if they all have curb rash. Maybe push it to 400 hundred.

98's are lighter. The price ranges above are correct- approx.
I own 3 sets of regular and one set 98's.

My suggestionis to buy curb rash TT wheels and get them refurbished through a place like Wheels America: http://www.fixrim.com/?gclid=CNLipqXP05ACFQGnPAoddzWDXg

I bought front TT rims for $90 and rears with 315 drag radials (2 passes left) for $240; all four rims had curb rash. I then sent them off (with Lexus center caps) to Wheels America and had them completely refurbished with new paint, machined lips, and a final clear coat. The results are fantastic, and I couldn't be happier.

Just FYI...
