is it possible to put a single stage air bag into a later moddel wheel? ive noticed that alot of the three spoke wheels have a similar design, so it stands to reason that an older bag might work. right?
Our SC has single stage airbags. You have to fit the airbag into a wheel regardless of single or dual stage.
There are 3-spoke wheel design that needs bigger 3-spoke airbag.
For instance, I have an IS300 wheel with 01 -03 Rav4/Celica airbag. If you have an 01-03 RX airbag, it won't fit into IS300 wheel. You need a bigger 3-spoke wheel. It's a mix and match game.
