i know some of you are gonna say to go search but i already did..anyways, it just started squeaking after i've installed my new clutch, maybe b/c the car was jacked up and i keep opening the doors back and fourth..what kind of grease or lubricants do you guys use and where can i get it from? i went to Advance Auto Parts today but didn't really find anything but some multi-purpose grease..

Multi-purpose grease is enough, either that or pb blaster. And if the hinges are squeaking in the same place as mine were, then it's not going to be immediately obvious. There is a metal strap near the top of the hinge assembly that the sleave rotates on where the metal makes contact with the strap when the door is opened and closed. It's not the obvious pivot points.

thumbs down on the PB Blaster, that's a solvent and will dissolve any and all remaining grease in the hinge causing certain failure in the future - same issue with WD40

White lithium works nicely on door hinges.

I haven't done so to my SC yet, but on my last car, the grease lasted three years before needing it again. The old car sat outside all the time too if thats any indication for how great the stuff is.
