Some guys here in Australia have replaced their lined covers with clear covers DIY for around $200.

Seems quite succesful.

Your SC looks good. I have 8000k on mine as well. The kit I've used had wires configured for SC's so I didn't have to deal with alteration.

I know you are excited about your HID lights. They are certainly much brighter than stock, and a much better color. I do want to point out that the stock lens in the SC is not made for HID, and will tend to scatter the light pattern differently than a lens made for HID. Also, the cut off from the stock light will tend to be different as well. Try to at least keep your lights pointed slightly more down than stock so that you do not blind oncoming traffic. You may notice that many more people may flash you thinking your bright lights are on. Again, looks great, but if you do not do a full retrofit, this can be a problem...

Cause they worked fine in a BMW but not in mine.... o well it took 30 mins longer but i wired up a relay with a 12v constant. BTW they look sooo freaking awesome ENjoY! (When i get a chance ill post the ones with my digital camera cellphone isnt that great)

Peace out

I had the same problem when i hooked up my HIDS. It stuck when installed them but after a week one of my lights went out. I thought maybe it was the bulb but I checked the connection and it was due to the pins being backwards. pissed me off

You would have a fair amount of glare with this setup and yes it may blind some oncoming traffic, but at least the headlights are projectors so its not too bad. Some cars I see around here have p-n-p hid kits in stock non-projector housings and its pretty annoying because there is a bunch of glare that is pretty blinding.
