of course they need to be trimmed and molded. but i was envisioning what this would look like with some 19" or 20" x 11" in the rear!

Don't do it man, just get some rims with an agresive offset.

I think the SC design is so "pure" (it was designed only from clay, no computers) that flares would hurt the balance.

But seems you are already doing it so I can't wait for final pics.!

I'd have to agree with him. An SC with aggressive offsets looks fantastic.

I think that might not go with the lines of the car. But if u decide to do it Make sure u get wider wheels.

i agree ,but how many sc's are the same profile. 97 kit, staggered wheels, dropped. ive seen enough already. lookin for something different and i cant really afford one of those widebody kits online. if i pull fenders it'll only go so far!?

Don't you have the red one? Isn't that one different enough? Keep that 97, lowered with aggressive wheel set up. Keep it clean.

Open to flaming???

well, I'm just an honest guy. SOOO, here goes:

1. Taillights =
2. Kit = ok, depending on how you're going to piece it together
3. Flares = Ok. ONLY if... ONLY if the flares are lined up vertically with the body panels. Right now, they look like they're just poking out up on top and connected back right at the stock body. Looks funny. If the rest of the body flares out to match the aggressive extension, then it would look great. Also, get wheels to fill the gap out.

Looks like a car a clown would drive. Those flares wouldn't look good unless you had wheels with like -50 offset.
