Due to my for sale thread turning into a chat...(sorry O.L.T/for sale section) I thought I let all the chitchat out first... Content copied from my for sale thread. If I broke a rule...sorry!!! and do what you have to.

Manual 5 speed swap will be going in next weekend. All swapped parts out of a 95 SC3 with 68k miles. Using my 97 Auto ECU, as well as differential. (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=317312)

If car is sold chances are I will be going to a MKIV Supra...(buddy's) or possibly an E36 M3. If I end up keeping the car, be on the lookout for boost coming in the oncoming months. (I went wingless for a few weeks...spoiler is back on car as of right now)


Basically I'm wondering if I should sell my car now, that I have someone actually interested...or hold onto it, and go ***** out on mods. I love my car, but prices of SC's are slowly but surely going down in pricing...Sell it while I can...or take a hit later down the road. I'm torn as to what to do...

strip the car, sell every part imaginable to CL people and then sell me the chassis lol. But honestly, i would keep it.

If you sell it get the supra. with a good turbo kit your car will walk all over a m3 on the streets. If you want a good track car get the bimmer. By looking at the pics i can see your the oddball with the sc but if you convert it to 5 speed and slap a turbo kit on there you will fall in love all over again.

You got too much of urself in the SC... PLUS+ you have a nonbled climate control LCD... that itself is worth keeping been the odd ball with the SC looking hawt compared to the M3s

haha thanks guys...I know I'm gonna fall in love with my car once the 5 spd is in...but depreciating value of the car makes me sad =(

Sell it now. Ive been trying to sell my 2JZGTE SC for a while and it hasnt been fun. You have to get lucky and find a proper buyer. I think I got lucky and im waiting to see if payment clears.

Point being, its MUCH harder to sell an SC than everyone here believes.

That car is waaaay too nice to sell. First car I think I have ever seen where I like the gold emblems. Keep the car and mod it.
