Default Power seat tilt

ok so when i bought the car the power tilt didn't work and i dont know how to fix it, i have taken the back of the seat off and it doesn't seem like there is anything wrong but when you use the button there is no sound no movement, if any of you guys have run into this problem and found a way to fix it let me know because its starting to **** me off considering its on the (USDM) driver side

like i said, power it directly. switch polarity to reverse the movement. if it recline and incline then its not the motor...
