Default Strange wiring job on my newly-bought SC

I purchased a swapped SC from a member on here and today I started poking around to do some stereo wiring and decided to take a peak at the FP ECU. I was a bit surprised to find this expert wiring job, I wonder if this has anything to do with my extreme lean condition I have.

Now my question is what do the other FP ECU wires do? Mine is completely unhooked as can be seen in the pics and the power wire is tapped from some grey thin wire under the seat. Checking the voltage on the other large wire (red wire next to the green) yields no voltage. So I am now in the process of running an 8ga wire back to a relay an feed the FP wire off that.

I have read all about bypassing it and normally you just splice in two large wires together (red and green) and plug it back in and go on with life. This one has been unplugged and power is being drawn form a grey wire on the floor which is roughly 22ga, fricking tiny.

Well apparently whoever was responsible for this didn't know what you know. This is what would come to mind to "professional" amateur. Oxymoron.

I checked voltage at the splice going to the pump and was getting 10 v at idle. I have been seeing high 15s -16 AFRs under boost and I believe this may have been a reason why. I did a quick rewire with a relay and 8ga wire and now I get a healthy 13.7 v at idle and a quick drive around has me at 11.8 afrs at 15psi. Whoohoo.

You should be thankful that the person at least tried to make it look good. I could post some pictures that would make you cringe

Perhaps he rigged a FP ECU cutoff switch somewhere you are unaware of? My second car was a 1994 Accord, and he used the Cruise Control switch as a Fuel Pump cut off switch. I was stumped at first but traced the wires down and figured it out.

As it is a GTE swapped sc I am not sure where to even start with getting it back together. As it stands the main power wire coming into the ecu has no power. Does anybody Know what the other wires do on the ecu? I looked at the wiring diagram, in the manual and it really doesn't say all that much except two of them go back to the ECU. I'm not sure if they should but there was no other voltage at any of these wires.
